GLR Lunar Domes Catalog
Premise.
Since 1997, GLR has developed an organization which has
members working on a variety of projects including, but not limited to, the
production of an accurate map of lunar domes, developing 3 dimensional
models of domes, analyzing Orbiter Images , as well as writing articles.
GLR members have recently compiled and published also dome maps indicating the locations of all known domes and suspected domes. The LAC dome maps was compiled by Brendan Shaw as GLR project (http://www.glrgroup.org/lac.htm)
Charles Kapral & Robert Garfinkle F.R.A.S have compiled another revised list incorporating all domes listed in previous dome catalogues, other publications and those found by GLR research.
This lunar dome catalog has a suggested nomenclature for designating domes as well as listing all data known about each dome. |
